Brian Car Sounds Security (BCSS), Coulsdon makes Massive with tiny Nano car amplifiers. Designed for competition and extreme SPL performance, the SPL Show SX300 is described by Hertz as an “Acoustic Pressure Generator”. The SX300 is a 12″ dual 2 ohm voice coil subwoofer with an exceptionally light, four layer voice coil assembly on a 40mm aluminium former offering exceptionally rapid excursion resulting in more air movement and extreme efficiency.
The unique dual spider design ensures extreme control and linear movement of the cone even during maximum cone excursion conditions. This results in incredibly accurate and surprisingly musical reproduction of sub frequencies with very low distortion. A triple magnet assembly also aids with accuracy under high SPL conditions and the unique back vented spider support system, consisting of vertical holes which drive air directly over the voice coil ensuring effective coolong without discenible compression.
Despite the technology on board, these subs add attractive styling to any installation whether mounted cone or magnet facing outwards.
