FOUR MASTERS use Audio Control for OEM audio upgrades for proper sound and a better driving experience. FOUR MASTERS the nation’s only network of independent car audio installers are known for their fantastic work in seamlessly integrating high specification car hi-fi into any car. Working to the highest standards, they believe that cars should sound better than they do and that drivers would really appreciate the difference. However, cars are chosen on personal taste, some executive saloons are designed for a coherent look and changing any trim or the car stereo is not always desirable.
In order to accommodate this, FOUR MASTERS are all equipped with a range of audio convertors which will grab the audio signals from the speaker outputs of a factory fitted unit and represent them as a stable hi-fi signal ready for amplification. Amplifiers come in all shapes and sizes and most are able to be hidden away therefore, having no impact on the aesthetic of the vehicle. Speakers can also be hidden away and FOUR MASTERS has access to a whole raft of direct replacement models suitable for most of the popular models.
Returning to Audio Control, their clever little interface boxes such as the LC-6i can completely negate the need to change anything on your dashboard. Six in-built line convertors allow you to takes signals from multi-frequency OEM installations and convert them to line level. A clever internal circuit detects when their is signal present at it’s inputs and automatically switches on which reduces the burden on the installer who ordinarily, would have to run a ‘remote switch-on’ cable from the head unit to the LC-6i.
As well as line converters, Audio Control also ranges a whole host of audio interfaces some of which, offer extra signal inputs for connection of an iPod or portable navigation system. They also produce sophisticated audio processors which can be preset to offer different sound curves depending on what music you are listening to.

FOUR MASTERS are set to cure ICE woes at the Modified Nationals. The May Bank holiday sees the Modified Nationals return to Peterborough Show Ground. Probably the best loved of all shows since moving to this venue, the crowds are certain to throng!
FOUR MASTERS are hoping for a good turn out of car owners who want to take advantage of a free of charge car sound clinic which will see some of the finest UK installers checking installs out for wiring anomalies and advising drivers on how to get more out of their equipment. They will even measure the sound output of your existing system so that you can decide if you are up to competition standard.
With years of experience between them, the FOUR MASTERS are only too aware of the pitfalls of DIY installs and will bein attendance not to embarrass but rather to help inspire car owners to greater things. It would be a shame if the only system ever invested in did not deliver to expectations. A good ICE install will bring huge amounts of fun and joy to your driving experience whist a poorly installed one will cause nothing but grief and could also lead to damage to the car and its occupants. This is unfortunately, the case for far too many young drivers who perhaps rush in to purchasing equipment for the wrong reasons and try to install it without the proper tools and knowledge to do the job. FOUR MASTERS want to encourage those starting out by offering free advice on performance and safety so that drivers can get the most from the sounds they love.
So if you are heading top Peterborough next weekend, don’t forget to check with the FOUR MASTER Car Clinic and get yourself a clean bill of health. Call 07939 187149 to book an appointment!

The FOUR MASTERS Car Clinic comes to Modified Nationals over the bank holiday weekend. Instigated in response to many DIY installers who have sent considerable amounts of money on equipment only to find that the suggestion that anyone can install it, simply isn’t true. In fact, over the years, there have been many horror stories involving long lengths of wire running unfused straight from a car battery to an amplifier in the back of the car. The implications here are extremely serious and can lead to a complete vehicle wiring burn out. Other issues relate to unsecured wiring wrapping itself around foot pedals and impeding driving safety and cables run through holes in metal work without grommets.

FOUR MASTERS do not necessarily blame young motorists for these issues. In may cases they are encouraged to save money on installation by unscrupulous sellers wishing to simply stuff a bunch of fivers in their tills and say goodbye to the customer forever. The fact is that installing electronics items into a car is a highly skilled profession and without the correct tools and know how, DIY’ers risk putting themselves and their passengers at risk. Good sound in a car costs money and when considering a system purchase for the first time, drivers should consider the cost of installation. Even apart from the safety considerations, a pair of £100 speakers installed by a professional could sound far £300 pair installed by an amateur.
For these reasons, FOUR MASTERS will be delivering free of charge car clinics all over the country this season beginning with Modified Nationals. The clinics are absolutely free and where possible a RTA SPL measurement ofyour car will be carried out so you have a record of exactly how loud it is. Many of you will know that FOUR MASTERS is an independent network of Car hi-fi experts dedicated to promoting great car hi-fi and they will go to extreme lengths to demonstrate their skills. So come along to a FOUR MASTERS Car Clinic near you and see how your installation measures up.

Perfect Car Sounds for Ferrari at Auto Italia from FOUR MASTERS. Last weekend’s Auto Italia at Brooklands was once again supported by FOUR MASTERS, the nation’s only independent network of Car Audio installers. The sun and Italiana fun were perfectly accompanied by the stunning, real hi-fi sounds emanating from none other than a lowly FIAT Panda, but what it lacks in mechanical attributes, it completely annihilates in terms of pure musical enjoyment and there was no lack of interest as Auto Italia fans queued all day to get to listen to it.
With FOUR MASTERS present you just know that audio excellence is close at hand and the poor overworked Panda demonstrated this. Having received initial resistance from Ferrari, Alfa and other Italian marque fans, rumours of excellent performance began to warm them to the idea of supplementing their driving experience with great music in their cars and it wasn’t long before other FOUR MASTERS around the country were receiving phone calls asking when they had time to fit an install into a Ferrari!

Auto Italia, ultimately, appeals to those with an eye for style and performance and this is exactly what you get with a sound system installed by a FOUR MASTER. Hand crafted to fit sympathetically in with its surrounding yet delivering eye-popping performance which will bring a smile to the face of even the biggest unbeliever. To top it all, the Panda on show was installed with state-of-the-art audio from Italian manufacturer, Audison. Audison has long been considered the Ferrari of the car audio world developing, as it does, brand new technologies to take your car hi-fi system’s performance to new heights. But you don’t only have to take our word for it, grab yourself a copy of Driving Sounds magazine and see what past and present customers have to say about the equipment, service and end result achieved by FOUR MASTERS, then find your local FOUR MASTER and choose a system for your own vehicle, safe in the knowledge that you are joining a growing throng of discerning drivers who want the best from their car and it’s sound system.

Audison amplifies Northamptonshire cars at Audiomotive. This FOUR MASTER really knows how to move music lovers. With years of expert experience installing great sound to cars, Audiomotiv stocks plenty of Audison products as it knows these deliver quality performance and class leading reliability.
Audison, developed and built by Italian manufacturer Elettromedia, is world renowned for providing some of the finest car hi-fi amplifiers around. The LR-x range combines sonic perfection with state-of-the-art amplifier technology to deliver a special experience to music lovers on the move. Even before you get inside the product, innovation abounds. For instance the one-sided hidden cable entry point makes it possible for a FOUR MASTER to build an install without having to run cables to both sides of the amplifier. and a handy cover ensures that absolutely no cable is visible, a feature which seems so obvious, yet is rare especially on older-style amplifiers from “legendary” marques.

Inside, the LR-x provides an Amplifier Management Processor (AMP) which constantly monitors, temperature, voltage and current and initiates a whole host of safety modes to safeguard both amplifier and speakers should things get out of control! One such safeguard is the Smart Airflow Fan (SAF) which adjusts it speed depending on signals from the AMP. A Modular Sound-Proof Construction, ensures that power and signal circuitry are kept well apart to avoid any chance of cross talk and interference thus ensuring sonic integrity without avoidable losses or distortion.
Even the installer is provided for with the inclusion of a number of “patch cards” to make amplifier system configuration as simple and error-free as possible. Utilising a mix of Class AB and Class D topology within the same amplifier ensures that the comprehensive LR-x range offers the perfect amplifier for any system build. Audison’s holistic approach to design, which takes into account every aspect from performance to installation, is why Audiomotiv insist that if it has to sound great, it has to be Audison!
See it, touch it, hear it at Audiomotive, Wellingborough right now!

FOUR MASTERS Car Clinics, great car sounds which save your ears, £’s and now lives! A network of independent specialist car audio dealers brought together by distributor FOUR, FOUR MASTERS have been delivering first rate installation techniques, expert advice and fantastic products for some years now. If you attend a mainstream modified car show you will always see FOUR MASTERS shouting loud about what they live for! Now, as well as showing and demonstrating great installations, we invite you to have your install looked at by an expert to fight back against ill-advised DIY installs out there which, seriously risk driver and passenger safety.
Our first ever FOUR MASTER Car Clinic held at the Auto Sound and Style show in March showed us just how much dangerous practice goes on when unskilled installers are let loose on a car with insufficient knowledge and equipment to carry out even the simplest of tasks. FOUR MASTER Paul Ellis, Source Sounds Sheffield said, after a very busy day; “The market entry price for powerful amps and speakers has come down rapidly, drawing a new audience of DIY installers who really just need a hand with basic safety. Today, I have seen power cables run directly from the battery of a car through holes in a bulkhead, without grommets, to a powerful amplifier in the boot with no in line fuse! When, eventually, the sharp metal of the bulkhead wears through the power cable a serious incident will happen with devastating consequences! Fortunately, those who took the opportunity to have their cars checked by us are now able to make slight but essential modifications to their installs to prevent this from happening.”
But, FOUR MASTER Car Clinic offers huge benefits even to the safety conscious. All FOUR MASTERS are trained, not only, to install safe hi-fi but also great sounding car hi-fi and those attending with complete, professionally installed systems were just as likely to go away with great expert advice on how to squeeze more power and better fidelity from their equipment.
Check out our events page to find a FOUR MASTERS Car Clinic near you now!
