Using a blend of cotton and pressed paper, the cones are formed to move the maximum amount of air while resisting cone break-up during heavy excursion. Tweeters use a material called Tetelon which is a blend of cotton and silk to provide pinpoint accuracy in the high’s without unpleasant harshness often experienced at these price points while the annular geometry of the damping chamber helps to extend low frequency response offering smoother transition between mid and high frequencies.
